Drug Uses
Desyrel is used for curing depression. It can also be used for relief of an free-floating anxiety (e.g., sleeplessness, tension), chronical pain. It may also be used for other conditions as advised by your physician.
How Taken
Use Desyrel as directed by your doctor. Take Desyrel after a meal or light snack. It may take 1 to 4 weeks for Desyrel to work. Do not stop taking Desyrel without consulting with your physician.
Additional Information
Desyrel may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Desyrel is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Take Desyrel with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Desyrel should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
