Drug Uses
Cipro is used for curing of bacterial infections. It may also be used to prevent or slow anthrax after exposure.
How Taken
Take Cipro with a full glass of clear water as recommended by your physician. Use Cipro with or without a meal. It is recommended to drink extra fluids while taking Cipro. If you also take any products containing magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, or zinc (eg, vitamins/minerals, antacids), didanosine, sucralfate, or bismuth subsalicylate, don't take them within 6 hours before or two hours after taking Cipro. To clear up your infection completely, take Cipro for the full course of curing. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days.
