Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic treatment and is used for healing of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Use Bactrim with or without a meal. It is advised to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink a few extra glasses of clear water, unless otherwise directed by your [[doctor|physician]. Don't stop taking Bactrim without your doctor`s approval, even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Bactrim can cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this drug. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not suggested. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, ask your doctor.
