Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic treatment and is used for treatment of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Use Bactrim with or without a meal. It is advised to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink a few extra glasses of clear water, unless otherwise suggested by your [[doctor|physician]. Don't stop taking Bactrim without your physician`s approval, even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Bactrim may cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you respond to Bactrim. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Don't share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Don't use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor.
